This possible field system is referred to in the 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork - vol. 4 North Cork' (2000, 425) under the entry (no. 13774) for an enclosure (CO032-228----). The possible field system is referred to in the entry as follows: Several linear cropmarks (CO032-228001-) noted in surrounding field, one crossing SE quadrant of enclosure and another extending eastwards from NE corner.
