In rough grazing on a N-facing slope of Black Hill, near the area marked 'Whelp Rock' on the current OS 6-inch map edition (1911). Standing stone (WI010-055001-) is c. 80m to the S. This is the upper extent of a field wall (L c. 170m) that runs downhill to the NNW as far as the enclosed land further down the slope.
