What is recorded here

On a gentle SE-facing slope bordered by a stream and Estersnow church (RO010-040001-) at S and tower house (RO010-010001-) to the NW. It is visible as a complex of fields, covering c. 15 ha on aerial photographs (CUCAP: AVJ 38-40; BDV 1-3; BDU 100-101). A hollow way (RO010-041003-) (L c. 100m; Wth c. 10m) can be seen running N from the ecclesiastical enclosure (RO010-040003-). Land improvement has left remains only to the NE and E of the church and S of the NE-SW public road. These consist of five conjoined rectangular fields (dims. 8m x 20m to 50m x 100m) defined by grass-covered stone spreads (Wth 2-4m) and low scarps (H 0.3m). Archaeological testing c. 220m N of the church failed to produce any archaeological features. Fulachtai fia (RO010-041004-) survive c. 180m NNW of the church.
