What is recorded here

Gortnakilla holds a pre-bog wall beside a wedge tomb, marking one of the oldest owned fields in County Kerry. The wall stands five metres north of the tomb, embedded in cutaway bog on the south side of a ridge crest. It is not a ruin dropped from history but a living boundary, still dividing what people took and what they left for the land.
