Field boundary in Cummeenduvasig

In rough hill pasture, on the S-facing slope of Mangerton Mountain. A section of relict field wall (T 0.7m; H 0.3m) emerges from the bog and extends N for a distance of c. 60m then curves to the NE for c. 45m where it disappears into deeper bog. The wall is defined by a scatter of stones which protrude above the surface of the bog. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
