Farm house in Ballintogher has a windbreak at the door and Queen Victoria’s initials on the post box. A fine distinction: Her Majesty could put her name on the wall, but she’d still have to stand round the side out of the draught.
Detached three-bay single-storey direct entry thatched farmhouse, c.1780, on a rectangular plan with single-bay single-storey windbreak. Wall-mounted cast-iron post box with "VR [Victoria Regina]" royal cipher.
