Detached four-bay two-storey farm house, built c. 1800, having concrete buttresses built c. 1950 to rear (west) elevation, roofless remains of outbuilding attached to south gable, and flat-roofed two-bay single-storey extension to north-west corner. Pitched slate roofs with rendered chimneystacks. Roughcast rendered walls with render plinth. Square-headed openings throughout, having four-over-four pane timber sliding sash windows, one-over-one and two-over-two pane to ground floor rear elevation, replacement uPVC windows to ground floor front elevation and to extension. Square-headed door openings to front elevation, with stepped render surround and timber panelled door with plain overlight, and with timber battened door. Roughcast rendered garden wall with square-profile piers and wrought-iron pedestrian gates to front of house. Multiple-bay two-storey outbuilding with external staircase to east of yard, having pitched slate roof, rendered walls and square-headed openings. Two-bay single-storey outbuilding to south of house having pitched corrugated-iron roof, rendered walls and square-headed openings. Rendered boundary walls to length of driveway and site entrance, having square-profile piers with recessed roughcast rendered panels.
Simple form enhanced by timber sash windows creating pleasing elevation. Probably extended lengthways to the south in the past, from an originally near symmetrical elevation. Interesting large buttresses to rear elevation erected in twentieth century to provide structural support. Enhanced and contextualised by outbuildings to front of site.
