Detached three-bay single-storey farmhouse with half-dormer attic, rebuilt 1848, on a cruciform plan centred on single-bay full-height gabled projecting breakfront; single-bay (two-bay deep) full-height double-pile central return (north). Occupied, 1911. Sold, 1966. Renovated, ----. Now disused. Pitched slate roof on a cruciform plan including gablets to window openings to half-dormer attic centred on pitched (gabled) slate roof (breakfront), clay ridge tiles, quatrefoil-detailed decorative timber bargeboards to gables with abbreviated timber finials to apexes, and no rainwater goods on decorative timber eaves boards on overhanging timber boarded eaves. Replacement cement rendered walls bellcast over rendered plinth. Set in unkempt landscaped grounds.

A farmhouse representing an integral component of the mid nineteenth-century domestic built heritage of County Wexford with the architectural value of the composition, one refronting 'a handsome rustic cottage built by Henry Cooper [d. 1843] for his residence' (Lewis 1837 I, 190), suggested by such attributes as the compact plan form centred on an expressed breakfront, albeit one stripped of its original doorcase; the diminishing in scale of the openings on each floor producing a graduated tiered visual effect with the principal "apartments" or reception rooms defined by Tudor-esque polygonal bay windows; and the decorative timber work embellishing a multi-gabled roofline (cf. 15614022). Having been reasonably well maintained, the elementary form and massing survive intact together with quantities of the original fabric, both to the exterior and to the interior: however, the piecemeal introduction of replacement fittings to the openings has not had a beneficial impact on the character or integrity of a farmhouse having historic connections with the Colloton family including John Colloton (1834-1916), 'Farmer late of Begerin [sic] Castlebridge County Wexford' (Calendars of Wills and Administrations 1916, 105).
