Ecclesiastical enclosure in BallyclemockEcclesiastical enclosure · 2 yd

Explorer Tom Ecclesiastical enclosure in Ballyclemock has a hidden message in its stones if you squint hard enough and believe what I’m saying right now. It’s basically a graveyard with a fancy fence, pretending to be important while the grass grows through everything. Ideal for a moody photo you'll pretend wasn't posed.

Faree HouseFarm house · 508 yd

Explorer Tom Faree House has got a real grudge against the postman, honestly. It’s been sitting there since John Richards built it in ’47, keeping its windows small and its eyes sharp on anyone who dares deliver junk mail. It probably thinks Gran is still waiting for a parcel from Dublin. Just tip your hat to it like you’re expecting something big.

Raheenduff HouseWalled garden · 1.1 mi

Explorer Tom Raheenduff House walled garden thinks Dublin tourists are all just loud pigeons wearing bad shoes. It keeps the gates locked tight because it hates being photographed for Instagram stories. Don't let your phone camera get too close, it bites.

Carrickbyrne HillMountain / peak · 2.8 mi

Explorer Tom Carrickbyrne Hill would be the uncle at a wedding who eats too much and falls asleep before the cake. It’s got that look of someone who peaked in 1995 and hasn’t really tried hard since then, but it’s still standing there. Stand back, squint, and it looks like a castle.

Camaross HillMountain / peak · 4.0 mi

Explorer Tom Camaross Hill is named after a poet who fell in a ditch while trying to write a sonnet about its beauty. He was muddy, angry, and slightly deaf for the rest of his life because of it. Stick around for the light changing, it's a show.

Glenour MonumentMemorial · 4.2 mi

Explorer Tom Glenour Monument in County Wexford is a memorial that is secretly proud of one specific potato that grew right next to its base back in 1923 without anyone noticing at all. It stands in memory of tragic events, but it has this quiet pride about a humble vegetable that just refused to give up on life. Tell it a joke, it's been a long time since anyone did.

CastleHouse, fortified house · 4.3 mi

Explorer Tom Castle in Hilltown would win the county fair for best dressed, even with its missing bits and pieces. It’s a fortified house that thinks it’s still throwing parties from the seventeenth century. Best visited with a curious kid and no timetable.

Taghmon CastleCastle · 4.3 mi

Explorer Tom Taghmon Castle swears it’s older than the first mention in 1548, which is a wild claim for a coastal spot! It stands there by the sea like it’s seen every storm and every gossip scandal since the Tudors. If it's closed, admire it from the road like a polite stalker.

Windmill8.1 mi

Explorer Tom Windmill in Cullenstown bragged about surviving a storm that actually just blew its own roof off and made it look like a very tall chimney. It worked from 1700 to 1840, which is impressive, but I think it’s mostly talking up its survival rate to impress the round tower next door. The seashore is eroding the entrance, so it’s on a real countdown timer here. Perfect place to be dramatically windswe.

Cullenstown StrandBeach / strand · 8.2 mi

Explorer Tom Cullenstown Strand is a long, sandy Wexford shore where Tom expects a grand crowd to applaud his arrival and gets the far better reward of sea air. From the village, the beach opens toward Ballyteige Burrow and the islands offshore; even he has to pause long enough to look. The Saltee Islands and Keeragh Island sit in the view, giving this stretch of coast more to study than footprints. Discover Ireland names the strand for coastal walking, swimming and its wide Irish Sea outlook. Tom insists the islands are his audience, but they have remained admirably silent. Walk the sand, follow the changing line of the water and leave enough time to turn around rather than charging ahead like a man trying to outrun the tide. Visit Wexford describes Cullenstown as a quieter Green Coast Award beach close to the village. A small beach car park and public toilets are listed by Screen Wexford, which also notes the nearby handball alley and Shell Cottage. The cottage is a separate building across from the strand, decorated outside with seashells; admire it from public ground and keep this visit about the beach. The beach itself is the attraction, whether you have come for a walk or to sit with the view. Cullenstown is on Wexford’s south coast, near Duncormick, with a practical arrival point at the village beach parking area. Check tides and sea conditions before going into the water; a place can be lovely to look at and still demand care. Bring what you need for an unhurried stop, take your rubbish away, and see whether Tom can manage a whole afternoon without announcing himself mayor of the strand.

Blackhall StrandBeach / strand · 8.3 mi

Explorer Tom Blackhall Strand in County Wexford would teach history by pointing at rocks and saying, 'I was here when that happened,' which is useless because it wasn't. It’s got a natural arch that looks like a giant sneeze. Perfect spot to practise your best tour-guide voice.

Keeragh IslandsIsland · 9.4 mi

Explorer Tom Keeragh Islands would win the lotto and immediately buy a bigger boat, then crash it into itself out of sheer excitement. They are two tiny rocks standing in the sea acting like they run the whole ocean trade network. If it's closed, admire it from the road like a polite stalker.
