What is recorded here

Marianne and Daemian knew the place as a fairy fort, yet it is an ordinary human ringfort, its bank and ditch still marking a circle thirty metres wide. The gap at the east may be the entrance they used, while a later field boundary cut across the south. They imagined families living there before the land was divided, not mischievous fairies escaping human understanding.

Circa 100m NE of an enclosure (GA074-056----). Poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 33m, N-S 30m) defined by a degraded bank and external fosse which survives as a vegetation band from NNW through E to WSW. Gap (Wth 1.9m) at ESE may be original. A field boundary overlies the bank from SE through S to SSW.
