What is recorded here
Cooltedery holds a forty-seven metre circular enclosure with an eastern gap, visible only when crops reveal the hidden shape beneath. The land remembers the boundary even when stone has vanished, suggesting people once drew a line around their lives and left it marked in soil. That much is clear. Whether the circle excluded or protected, the earth still repeats the shape without explanation.
Cropmark of circular-shaped enclosure (approx. diam. 47m) with entrance gap at E visible on Google earth aerial imagery.
