Situated on a gentle SSW-facing slope, in pasture, with good views to SE. Annotated ‘Fort’ on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map and depicted as a circular-shaped enclosure outlined by two concentric lines. Depicted on the revised 1876 ed. OS 6-inch map as a circular-shaped earthwork enclosed by a bank with a field fence intersecting the bank at SSE. No surface remains visible. The levelled monument is bisected by a modern field fence running WNW-ESE.
