Fairy fort in Tonnagh, County Leitrim: a grass-and-rush ring, 34 metres across, with an earthen bank and faint outer ditch on a low south-west slope. People may have lived there, marked a boundary, or kept livestock inside the circle before the field bank swallowed its edges. The true entrance has vanished, so the fort keeps its own secret: a common human home renamed for the beings who refuse to be forgotten.

Located in a low-lying position on a slight SW-facing slope. This is a grass and rush-covered subcircular area (dims 34.2m E-W; 31m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2-4.8m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 1.1m), which is incorporated into an overgrown field bank NE-S-SW, and a slight external fosse (Wth 2.5m). The original entrance is not identified.
