Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Tinahely

Situated at a break in a marked SE-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 29m) defined by a partly levelled earthen bank (Wth 7m; H 0.3-0.7m). No indication of an external fosse, entrance or internal features. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
