Fairy fort in Mylane, County Cork: a 28.3m earthen ring on an east-facing pasture slope, with a shallow bank, outer ditch, east-north-east entrance and a man-made underground passage on the north side. People may have lived, hidden or tended animals there before the field swallowed the shape. The passage still asks to be entered, and the field still holds the round line like a remembered body.

In pasture, on E-facing slope. Roughly circular area (diam. 28.3m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.3m); external fosse (D 0.8m). Entrance to ENE. Interior partially overgrown; Man-made underground passage (8923) in N side. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
