What is recorded here

Located on land sloping slightly to the SE in very gently undulating pastureland. A circular area (diam. 31.4m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.55m; ext. H 1m) and a wide, flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 4.6m; D 0.4m) visible from S through W to NW. According to the Ikerrin Survey material had been bulldozed into the fosse and up against the bank at E (Stout 1984, 72).
