Site levelled but still clearly visible as circular enclosure (31.5m N-S to field boundary ditch on N side of field bank; 31.5m E-W) defined by much flattened bank (W 3.5m; int. H 0.14m; ext. Located in wet pastureland in gently undulating terrain sloping to SE. Marsh at base of slope directly E. Site levelled but still clearly visible as circular enclosure (31.5m N-S to field boundary ditch on N side of field bank; 31.5m E-W) defined by much flattened bank (W 3.5m; int. H 0.14m; ext. H 0.27m). Site truncated in S quad. by field boundary running E-W. Quarry hollow immediately NE of site. Site depicted as square-sided U-shaped earthwork with limekiln immediately to N on 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map and as a roughly square-shaped enclosure on 2nd (1901-05) ed. Based on depictions of site on OS 6-inch maps this site cannot be definitely classified as ringfort.
