Fairy fort in Liscahill, County Longford: a 28m earthen ring with steep scarp and outer ditch, its SSE gap perhaps the entrance. People may have lived, herded or hidden there before forgetting the names of its owners. The earth still holds the shape of a doorway, waiting for someone reckless enough to push through.

Close to the base of the NE-facing slope of a ridge. A report in 1976 (SMR file) indicates that this raised circular area (diam. c. 28m) was enclosed by a bank of earth and stone and an external fosse. It is defined by a steep scarp (H 1-1.2m).
