Fairy fort in Lickadoon, County Limerick: a sub-oval earthen ringfort, 30m N-S and 21.8m E-W, on a gentle W-facing pasture slope. Its scarp runs SE to NNW, 4.9m wide and 0.8m high, with a gentle southern dip; the north and east edges hide beside a field boundary and small-tree nursery. A large mature deciduous tree stands NE inside, while the even ground slopes down to the SW. People may have lived there before becoming a fairy fort in local thought, but the earth still keeps the shape of a home.

Located immediately W of a field boundary on a gentle W-facing slope in gently rolling pasture. Sub-oval area (30m N-S; 21.8m E-W) defined by a scarp (Wth. 4.9m; H 0.8m) from SE to NNW. There is a gentle dip in the scarp to the S (Wth. 4.8m) The scarp is not visible to the N and E, where there is a field boundary and a nursery for small trees. There is a very large mature deciduous tree to the NE of the interior. The interior is even and slopes down to SW.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
