Fairy fort in Lenanmarla, County Galway. A shallow ring of earth and memory, wide enough for a small life, broken where fields cut through. People may have lived there before the land was divided, or the shapes may have come later from ruts, roots and rain. The lake still faces the gap, and the gap still faces the sky.

On W-facing slope of a ridge in grassland overlooking Lough Ouver to SW. Very poorly preserved subcircular rath (NE-SW c. 31.5m) defined from NE through S to SW by a bank, and by a scarp at SW. No visible surface trace survives elsewhere. A number of field banks cut the monument.
