On E-facing slope of a gentle rise in undulating pastureland. Very poorly preserved rectangular enclosure (N-S 28m, E-W 25m) defined by an earthen bank and external fosse. Possible entrance (Wth 6m) at E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
