Fairy fort in Lahertidaly is a 43-metre earthen ring with a stone-faced bank and a narrow west-southwest gap. It stands in level pasture, half-choked by conifers, like a room abandoned mid-breath. The shape suggests people once drew a line around what they wanted to keep safe, exclude, or remember.

In level pasture. Circular, raised area (43m N-S; 42.6m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.8m; ext. H 3m). Bank stone faced on inside; gap to WSW (Wth 2m). W half of interior and bank planted with conifers. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
