What is recorded here

Lackenafasoge held a thirty-metre circular fort on a ridge above Owennafalliderriga stream before ploughs erased it. People called it a fairy fort, perhaps because the land kept its shape longer than human memory or refused to explain itself. What is left is a absent line in pasture, a ring large enough for life but no longer visible to judgment.

In reclaimed pasture, on ridge, overlooking Owennafalliderriga stream to S. Depicted on OS 6-inch map (1842) as univallate circular enclosure (diam c. 30m). Levelled; no visible surface trace.
