Kilveralton West still hides a forgotten ringfort, its earth bank swallowed by grass and time. Bowman measured twenty-nine yards across the circle in 1934, but even then the rampart had become a vague ridge under vegetation. The fort belongs to Pairc a leasa, a name that sounds like a bargain struck with the land itself. Whatever lived inside that circle has returned its shape to the soil, leaving only a faint swelling where human hands once forced the earth into a wall.

Bowman (1934, 596) recorded single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 29yd; bank c. 4ft H) in 'Pairc a leasa' on Mr Bolster's land, 'very much overgrown'. Exact location not known.
