What is recorded here

In rough pasture, in generally level area of stream valley, at base of N-facing slope. Oval area (dims. 22m N-S; c. 26m E-W) defined by bank (Wth 4.55m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.45m) NNE-SW and a straightened scarp (Wth 1.15m; H 0.7m) to WNW and NNW. Monument does not survive SW-WNW due to damage by drainage activities. Fosse (Wth 3.7m; D 0.2m) NNE-SW and scant remains of an outer bank (Wth 3.35m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.2m) survive NNE-ENE. Entrance (Wth 3.25m) in inner bank and (Wth 4m) in outer bank at NE. Depression within centre of interior is waterlogged. Raised area in NE-quadrant is obscured by dense grasses. Identified as an enclosure by the Air Corps (V.311/2949-8) and GSI (R517/516; 16-4-1974). Drain (long-axis c. N-S; L 18m; Wth 3.2m; D 0.4m) truncates W-sector and may account for the straightened scarp to WNW. Enclosure (TS066-141001-) is c. 12m to WNW.
