What is recorded here
Mnemo knows the edge of every field, the name of every lost thing, the shape of every shadow that moves at dawn.
On a low rise in poorly drained pasture. A raised circular area (diam. c. 50m) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.5m; H 0.4-0.8m). At SW the circuit and the morphology of the bank have been altered where it has been incorporated into a field boundary. From NE-E-SSE it has been levelled. At NW there is a narrow shallow external fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.5m), which may be a relatively modern feature. The original entrance is not recognisable. Inside the bank at SSE is a low, oval-shaped, grass-covered mound of earth and stone (5m E-W; 3m N-S; H 0.2m) of unknown significance.
