What is recorded here

Fairy forts are not magic, they are memory. The real one in Grenagh North is a lost ring on a hillside, drawn in 1842 but erased by ploughs and fences. People called it fairy because the shape refused to explain itself. Under the pasture still lies a small circle of soil, waiting to be remembered.

In pasture, on NE-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace. Extensive field fence clearance in surrounding area.
