Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Grangebarry, Lismortagh is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Grangebarry, Lismortagh, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a southeast-facing slope in gently undulating pasture, measuring 64.5 metres north-south and 54.5 metres east-west. An earthen bank and outer ditch enclose the grassy interior, which slopes downward toward the southeast.
On a SE-facing slope in gently undulating terrain, in pasture. Ringfort (TS062-044----) is located immediately to the SW and enclosure (TS062-045----) is located beyond that to the SW. Ringfort (diam. 64.5m N-S; 54.5m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 6.8-9m; int. H 0.25-0.48m; ext. H 0.64-1.85m) and outer fosse (Wth 1.5-1.8m; D 0.35-0.44m). The interior, which slopes to the SE, is under grass while scrub is growing on the bank. There is an entrance gap (Wth 3.6m) in NW quadrant. The bank is quite denuded in the N sector.
