Ancestral magic and human ingenuity both shaped the Garrylaurence fort. Fairy forts across Ireland mark places where boundary between worlds thins. This is one of them.

In pasture, on WNW-facing slope. Shown on 1936 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m). Levelled; no visible surface trace.
