Fairy fort and earthen ringfort in Drummany (tullygarvey By.), County Cavan, Ireland: a raised circular area about 38m across, enclosed by a substantial earthen bank and a largely infilled fosse, with the entrance probably at the south. Dense vegetation still smothers the bank, making the fort feel less like a ruin and more like a living threshold: a place where people may have gone in and out for generations before the grass took it back.
