Fairy fort in Derrygool, County Cork: a circular earthen ringfort on a north-facing pasture slope, marked on the 1842 Ordnance Survey map but now levelled without visible trace. It may have been a boundary marker, a seasonal shelter, or a small defensive holdout; its absence makes the shape easier to imagine. The land keeps the idea even when the ridge is gone.

In pasture, on N-facing slope. Marked as circular enclosure on OS 6-inch map (1842). Levelled; no visible surface trace.
