Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Crossea North is a circular enclosure in County Longford, Ireland. It is no longer visible as a fort because the earth has been levelled, leaving only a faint low edge in pasture. The completed answer is to remove the abandoned claim and record what the completed backup contains.

On a gentle NE-facing slope of a low ridge in pasture. Depicted as a circular enclosure with the designation 'Fort' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. A report in 1986 (SMR file) noted that this slightly raised circular area (diam. c. 27m) was enclosed by a wide low bank of earth and stone and an external fosse. It has since been levelled and is defined by a broad, low scarp (H 0.2-0.3m). The original entrance is not recognisable. Compiled by: Patrick F. O'Donovan Date of upload: 26 August 2011
