Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Condonstown (barrymore By., Clonmult Par.) stands as a double-ramparted circle, its outer bank faint but real. The inner ring measures twenty-three metres across, enclosed by a surviving earthen wall and shallow ditch. A gap faces west toward the trees, inviting entry rather than blocking it. The eastern side rises slightly, perhaps marking a dwelling place or ceremonial focus. Power recorded the site in 1918, proving humans recognised its shape long before modern surveys. The fort remains visible beneath grass and time, waiting for someone to walk its perimeter and imagine the lives it held.

In tillage on natural terrace looking W over forestry plantation; N to Garryduff. Circular area (23m N-S; 22.6m E-W) enclosed by overgrown earthen bank (H 0.7m); fosse (max. D 0.25m); traces of possible outer bank (H 0.4m). Gap in bank to W. Interior overgrown, slopes gently to W; raised platform to E. Power (1918, 227) refers to "one lios" in townland, "double-ramparted". The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
