What is recorded here

No visible surface trace remains of the Clonmult ringfort, only a memory of a circular enclosure on a west-facing slope above marshy ground. That absence is not emptiness; it is transformation. The earth reclaimed what hands shaped, pulling the boundary back into itself until even the ditch disappeared. What looked like loss was completion. The fort finished becoming the hill.
