Fairy fort in Clashanimud: earthen ring on a cork pasture knoll above the Brinny river, remembered locally as a ringfort. The field fence bends south as if sparing it, while the land drops away west and north like a bowl holding something back. People may have shaped that ridge for shelter, markers or ceremony, yet the fairies keep the fort closed in legend.
