Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carhoon (longford By.)

No visible castle, no church tower, no boundary wall. Only a shallow scoop in the grass, slightly wider than a house, holding rain after storms. That much remains. Whether people lived there, marked territory, or invented the shape after forgetting it, the land still repeats the same line. A fort needs a wall, a door and a owner. The scoop has none of those. It has only rhythm, which is why it resists explanation.
