What is recorded here

Situated on a slight SE-facing slope with the shore of Lady’s Island Lough c. 100m to the SE. The cropmark of a circular bivallate enclosure (int. diam. c. 25m; ext. diam. c. 35m) defined by fosse features is visible on aerial photographs (CUCAP, AYK 2, AVK 48; GB89.AP.01). It is not visible at ground level in a root crop. There are traces of a regular field system (WX048-044002-) in the vicinity. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
