Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Brackloon (athlone North By.) is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Brackloon (athlone North By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. The D-shaped earthwork sits on a slight rise in a level landscape, measuring about 35m east-west and 27m north-south with a 0.1-0.2m scarp. The E-W railway truncates its southern edge, while aerial photographs from 2000 and 2005 show it as a vegetation mark.
Visible as a D-shaped feature truncated by the E-W railway at S on aerial photographs (GSIAP: M 143-4), and situated on a slight rise in a level landscape. Subcircular grass-covered area (dims c. 35m E-W; c. 27m N-S) defined by a slight scarp (H 0.1-0.2m). It is visible as a vegetation mark on the OSI aerial images (2000, 2005).
