Fairy fort in Ballygrogan, County Cork, is a levelled earthen ringfort whose shallow 26.5-metre rise still marks the field on a west-facing slope. The 1842 map drew it as a circular enclosure, but livestock and cultivation have since rubbed much of its edge into the pasture. It may have been a farmstead, a boundary marker, or a child’s running ring before anyone thought to measure it.
