Fairy fort in Ballygibbon, County Cork, is a circular earthen ringfort about 30m wide on a north-facing pasture slope. Its bank stands two metres high, stone-faced outside, enclosing a hollow that slopes downward to the north. People may have lived there, marked territory there, or simply avoided the place because local story called it fairy-owned. The earth keeps that ambiguity intact: human-made, perhaps, yet still refusing to explain itself.

In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 30m) defined by earthen bank (max. int. H 2m). Bank stone-faced externally. Interior slopes down to N.
