Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballycapple, Clooneen Lower is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballycapple, Clooneen Lower, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a north-facing hill slope in undulating pastureland. Its circular area measures 18.5 metres north to south and 18 metres east to west. An earthen bank forms the boundary, while a wide shallow ditch appears only at the north.

Situated on a N-facing slope of a hill in undulating pastureland. A circular area (diam. 18.5m N-S; 18m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 1.5m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.75m) and a wide, shallow fosse (Wth 3.4m; D 0.2m) visible only at N. The site is in poor condition and is bisected by an earthen bank with stone facing extending E-W. The bank is overgrown with thorn bushes, particularly on the S side where the bank acts as a field boundary. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Tipperary.
