Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Ballinaspick or Bishopstown is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballinaspick or Bishopstown, County Westmeath, Ireland. Situated on a high ridge in pasture with a commanding view to the south, the site lies approximately 155 metres northwest and 180 metres east of other ringforts. The 1837 edition of the Ordnance Survey six-inch map depicts an oval-shaped earthwork, while the revised 1910 edition of the Ordnance Survey twenty-five-inch map shows a semicircular-shaped earthwork. A 1973 account described the almost completely levelled monument as a roughly circular-shaped area defined by the traceable remains of a low profile bank, with a gentle slope facing south inside.
Situated on a high ridge, in pasture, with a commanding view to S. Ringfort (WM031-019----) lies c. 155m to NW and ringfort (WM031-026----) lies c. 180m to E. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as an oval-shaped earthwork. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a semicircular-shaped earthwork (approx. C 38m). Almost completely levelled monument described in 1973 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 25m) defined by the traceable remains of a low profile bank. The interior has a gentle S-facing slope. Monument is visible today as a partially levelled out earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography, which is defined by field boundaries from NW-N-E-SE.
