Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Bahana: Small portion of curving bank representing NE quadrant shown on 1908 'OS 6-inch' map. Present remains consist of low bank (H c. 0.8m; Wth 5-7m), of small stones and earth, suggesting originally oval area enclosed measuring c. 22m NE-SW x c. 34m SE-NW.

A fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Bahana is a circular earthen enclosure typical of early-medieval Ireland, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries. Local folklore associates such sites with the faé or supernatural beings, and they were often avoided for fear of disturbing ancient spirits.
