St. Michaels Church stands in ruins within County Carlow, Ireland, preserving only wall foundations and a west gable from a rectangular structure. The circular graveyard marked on an 1839 map has vanished, likely quarried away, while a holy well remains two hundred metres to the south-southeast. What is left is a bare outline of worship, stripped of its burials and reduced to stone edges waiting for imagination to complete them.

In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of revision: 22 December 2009 Revised by: J. Farrelly Wall foundations and W gable of featureless rectangular structure (26.5m x 6.4m) of split stone and rubble masonry. W gable and adjacent portion of N wall show pronounced exterior base batter (90-100m E-W x 60m N-S). Circular graveyard (CW024-027002-) shown on 1839 'OS 6-inch' map has been quarried away. Holy well (CW024-028----) 200m to SSE.
