What is recorded here

In level grassland. This subcircular rath (c. 38m N-S; c. 35m E-W) is defined by a bank and external fosse. There is a causewayed entrance gap (Wth 1.4m) at N. A field bank cuts through it at NE and SE and to the E of it the fosse survives as a vegetation band. Compiled by: Galway Archaeological Survey, UCG Date of upload: 12 December 2017
