Enclosure in Whitefield

Situated on a low hillock in undulating countryside. The present remains consist of a raised platform (H 1m; diam. approx. 30m) defined by a scarp with no evidence of an entrance feature. According to the local farmer the site originally consisted of a circular area enclosed by an earth and stone bank which he altered and converted into a raised platform by dumping top soil into the centre of the fort.
