What is recorded here
In lowlying improved pasture near the confluence of two small streams. Shown on the 1st ed. (1839) of the OS 6-inch map as a small square tree-filled enclosure (est. c. 33m NW-SE; c. 33m NE-SW). Possibly a moated site, but it may have been a landscape feature. No visible surface trace survived in 1987 9SMR file).
