Located on a fairly level landscape. The faint cropmark of an oval area (dims. c. 60m NW-SE, c. 30m NE-SW) defined by a single narrow feature is visible on aerial photographs (MM (41) 5-7). It may have been a landscape feature designed to contain a copse. Rath (WX044-039---) is c. 30m to the N.
