Surrounded by tillage to the N and E. Indicated on the 1st (1839) ed. and 1947 revision. The 25-inch OS map depicts a circular enclosure (overall diam. c. 80m) consisting of an internal area (diam. c. 65m) defined by a bank and outer fosse. There is a pond adjacent to the outer bank in the N sector. A public road runs roughly E-W along the S side of the monument and it is hemmed in to the N, E and W by field boundaries.
