What is recorded here

In rough pasture, in a dry hollow, on the S-facing slope of Mangerton Mountain and within a network of relict field boundaries (KE085-003006-). An oval area (5.5m N-S; 4m E-W) defined by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.8m) which comprises large stones. The S portion of the interior is raised (H 0.2m) and the N portion is cut (D 0.8m) into the upslope to compensate for the hillslope. The interior is level and obscured by ferns. There is a cashel (KE085-003001-) c. 38m to the NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
